I would meet more than twice a year if I knew the schedule ahead of time
I’m having trouble with this blog. But, of course, I’m a techno-klutz.
I would suggest one state-wide meeting and two regional meetings per year. Conference calls can be arranged for special issue discussion.
I’ll basically go with the majority. I’LL BE THERE!!!!
Thanks for all you do!

I'm including this comment from Paula Gould, LV Shenandoah, sent a few weeks before our October meeting:
"I strongly suggest that the VLLC use a teleconference modality.
I suggested this strategy several months ago.
If the attendance from around the state is minimal, then I believe that speaks to the necessity for the teleconference idea
I don't think there is any substitute for face time. I would strongly support 1 or 2 statewide meetings per year (linked with VAACE or Program Manager's mtg?).
I would also support regional meetings several times per year although this make already be accomplished thru RLCC.
I think the CBLO's should also think about a conference addressing our needs. VAACE is geared towards advocacy and Pro-Lit is (my opinion) not that great.
The NoVA conference is on target with ESL, but may not be convenient for all, and does not address ABE or Adm. needs. Any interest?? Would VLF help fund?
